Built in 2024, our Forest Suites are 62 m² premium A-frame cabins crafted in cross-laminated timber (CLT). Tucked into the quiet forest behind the kennel, they offer privacy, warmth, and a strong connection to nature—designed for rest between Arctic adventures.
Built to feel both modern and ancient, these suites are designed for Arctic stillness. With floor-to-ceiling windows, warm wooden interiors, and soft Nordic beds, they give you front-row access to the wild without leaving comfort behind.
Here, you can fall asleep to silence. Watch the Northern Lights from your pillow. And step out into the snow with your coffee in hand.
Holmen Husky Lodge is the ideal base for exploring everything Alta has to offer. Whether you're heading out for dog sledding, snowmobiling, chasing the Northern Lights, or visiting nearby attractions, the Forest Suites place you right in the heart of it all.
Breakfast is included and served in the Barn each morning. You’ll also have access to the shared sauna, located in the Spa House connected to the Barn.
From November to mid April, snow covers the forest andthe skies go dark — perfect for Northern Lights viewing. It’s a powerful, quiet time. Best experienced slowly, and with intention.
In winter, the minimum stay is 2 nights — giving you the space and time to truly settle in. Everything is set up for peace, privacy, and presence. This is not a place for rushing.
