Lying next to the dogyard, the Barn is also at the centre of life at Holmen. In the past it held horses and cows, but now it’s been converted into both a dining area and the perfect place to relax and watch the huskies play around in the dogyard. The interior represents traditional Norwegian cabin culture with some of the Barn’s original features kept in place.
In the Barn we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We serve breakfast made with homemade commodities at the barn between 8 and 10 am. You can taste classics like smoked salmon, different Norwegian cold cuts, freshly baked bread and yoghurt with a variety of cereals.
For lunch you can choose between curry soup with rice and chicken or bacalao, served with freshly baked bread and butter. For some of our packages, you’ll be served lunch at a partner’s location.
Dinner at Holmen is a two-course meal and is served at 18 pm. All our meals are locally sourced and made from local ingredients, and the main ingredient is always either meat or fish. For some packages, you’ll be served dinner at a partner’s location.
